Following on from the success of my one-to-one courses on getting to know your camera, I am now offering a group 1 day photography course for those "stuck on Auto" and want to get more from their camera.

The minimum requirement for the course is a DSLR camera, all makes and models welcome. There will be no more than 6 students per workshop.

The aim of the course is to provide beginners with enough knowledge and hands on practical guidance to leave automatic mode behind and ultimately capture better images. The day (4-5 hours) includes the following:

⦁  Understanding the information displayed in your viewfinder

⦁  P (programme) mode

⦁  A (aperture) mode, also known as Av mode

⦁  S (shutter speed) mode, also known as Tv mode

⦁  M (manual) mode

⦁  Depth of field

⦁  Long exposure techniques

⦁  ISO settings

After a couple of hours on getting to know your camera and equipment, the remainder of the day will be spent on location giving you the opportunity to try new techniques and camera settings.

  • The course will be held at my Studio at 9a Henry Street, Enniskillen.
  • Date: Sunday, 22 March 2015
  • Time: 11am

The practical part of the course will take place within walking distance of my Studio.  A light lunch is provided, if you have any special dietary requirements I would kindly ask you to please bring your own lunch.
